This educational unit teaches sonographers how to identify and manage complications specific to multiple gestations, including twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome, selective intrauterine growth restriction, and other monochorionic twin pathologies. Students will learn the critical role of ultrasound surveillance, Doppler assessment, and the Quintero staging system in evaluating fetal growth patterns, hemodynamic imbalance, and intervention timing.
